Dr. Felicia Zhang is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and Chinese at the University of Canberra, Australia. She holds a RSA for teaching English as a foreign language and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Canberra. Her research interests include the use of speech technology in language teaching and acquisition. She is the 2003 winner of Australian Awards for University Teaching for the category of the Humanities and the Arts.

Dr Sharon Harvey is Associate Dean (Research and Postgraduate) and Head of the School of Languages and Social Sciences in the Faculty of Applied Humanities at AUT University, New Zealand. Sharon is currently leading three Ministry of Education-funded research projects into language teaching and learning in New Zealand.

Mary McLeod is the Manager of CQUSS. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work. Her special interest is in widening  student participation in learning at the tertiary level and directing education towards influencing  social change.

Roslyn McCarthy holds a Masters Degree in Psychology.  As a former Teacher she is passionate about the role of psychology in educational settings. Her special interest lies in the area of Positive Psychology.

Kadie works in the Competence Assessment Service at CQU, Rockhampton campus.  Kadie's passion for nursing and education is  an ideal fit for  supporting nurses to return to practice.  Kadie is a new recruit to Capricorn Coast having previously lived on the Gold Coast for most of her life.
